I recently traveled to my favorite racing town of St. Louis for the Mid Town Alley Grand Prix and the Tour de Grove, an NRC event. 

Ever wonder how cool it would be to race a criterium with loads of spectators standing behind barricades, banging on the advertiser’s boards, and yelling your or your team’s name?

As this is my second full year racing in the Southeast, I'm starting to get a handle on what the good races are, most of which I missed last year!  The circuit race at the Barber Motorsports Park is definitely one of the races I'd heard about.  

Several months ago, after a cold, winter ride, the women of NashvilleCyclist.com went out for one of my favorite things: coffee.

On the weekend of March 20th, 2010, lycra-clad lunatics and misfits converged on Berlin, TN for the first running of the fabulous Hell of the South road race.

Check out where the men and women in light blue will racing in 2010.  Once again we have put together an aggressive schedule targeting races in Tennessee as well as others such as Athens Twilight, Masters Nationals, Criterium Nationals and the Gateway Cup.

While the management of NashvilleCyclist.com diligently worked on their roster they were also quietly working behind the scenes to nail down sponsors for 2010. The team lost sponsorship prior to the 2009 season, but they recently struck deals to strengthen the team’s presence and ability to compete well into the future.

Coming off the heels of its most successful racing season in 2009, the NashvilleCyclist.com racing team has found a way to reload for 2010.
