2005 HOW 100

10 Sep 2005

I hope everyone enjoys the pictures as much as I enjoyed riding around taking them.  I appreciate the great attitudes of all the ladies.  Definitely a photogenic bunch!  The ride was a huge success as it attracted 485 riders and raised over $65,000 for the Minnie Pearl Cancer Foundation.  Anyone who participated will tell you it was a great atmosphere and very cool to be around so many wonderful women enjoying a bike ride together.

Minnie Pearl in action at registration.

Hot pink Bianchi up for grabs.

The numbers achieved are quite staggering, look closely.

The singing of the national anthem at the start.

Teams and volunteers, as well as breakfast of champions.

Registration was a happening place before the start.

Come on, stick it right through there.

These three amigos had the right attitude!

Snuck up on these two before snapping away.

Remember Team PMS?

NashvilleCyclist.com diarist Lauren Gaffney opted for the scooter with Travis!

The first big pit stop of the day was a busy place.

Cool chicks in pink were all around.

Jeff and Clayton roaming the roads helping out withSAG.

A nice tribute on the back.

Cheering volunteers provide encouragement at the top of a climb.

Cool Minnie Pearl hat attached.

A sweet sign for many signaling the turn off Natchez Trace.

Finishing riders were greeted with balloons.

Bianchi's tent full bikes to check out.

A great way to end a ride, under the shade tree.
