See You In '05!
Well, this should just about wrap up my diaries for 2004. I
must say I have enjoyed very much sharing my experiences with
everyone!
I was having a little trouble coming up with a subject for another
diary before the end of the year when our “editor n’ chief” here
suggested that we write about something we are thankful for in honor
of the holiday spirit. This will hopefully serve to
counterbalance previous whining and griping.
Although I am thankful for many things (probably more than I am
aware of) I would say the thing I am the most thankful for is the
great group of family, good friends, and long lasting sponsors that
I have. This “support system,” as cyclists often refer to it
coldly and scientifically, is the only thing I can rely on to be
there for me no matter what happens in my life. Many of these
people could never understand how much they mean to me, especially
considering my generally stoic attitude towards them.
Their contributions to my life are often what keep me going, because
I know no matter what- if (when) I fall- they will be there to catch
me and never ask anything in return.
