This custom plan caters to those athletes with multiple key events they are targeting that require greater training specificity. This athlete is likely a regular competitor and is looking for that extra edge on the competition. This investment will offer the athlete deeper instruction and insight into developing their edge to a higher level. Overall rider development begins to become a focus to help build the necessary skills for future success. The training plan will be developed based purely on a goals assessment as well as through identifying strengths and weaknesses.

This plan is for the season long competitor or rider who desires to stay focused all year around. A full custom training plan design from the off-season to end of competition season is expected. At this level the interaction between coach and athlete is more frequent and more in depth. This rider usually has two to three “A” events with multiple “B” level competitions as well. You are looking to get the most out of your abilities while making a steady progression to develop into your full potential long-term. Rider development is a key component at this level to achieve future success beyond the one year commitment.

This plan is for the seriously committed athlete seeking daily guidance to achieve their cycling goals. This athlete is making not just a commitment to the coach, but more importantly the commitment to themselves to reach their full potential. This investment assures the athlete of daily contact with the coach for questions, encouragement, guidance, instruction and feedback. The relationship between the coach and athlete will be one filled with maximum attention and feedback.

Other Considerations – “The Fine Print”
Initial consultation is free prior to signing up for services. Any further consultations prior to signing up, on or off the bike, will be at a rate of $30 per hour. Coffee is on the coach!
Pay up front for an entire 12 months and receive 10% off the plan total.
It is highly recommended the athlete obtain a physical and receive permission from a doctor that he or she is physically able to handle the rigors of training. The coach should immediately be made aware of any illnesses or injuries.
There is no setup fee to start receiving coaching services. However, there will be an athlete assessment and informational form that will need to be filled out before services begin.
Bike fitting services are $50 per fitting if you are a client, and $125 if you are not a client.
Coach will ride with non-clients to receive instruction and advice for $30 per hour.
Feedback from the athlete via online at TrainingPeaks is a critical component to the athlete’s success. The athlete must agree to provide this information daily in order to hit their targeted goals. If the athlete falls behind and/or fails to provide feedback in a timely manner then the athlete acknowledges they are missing opportunities to develop the athlete/coach relationship.
Private Mat Pilates and/or cycling specific stretching sessions are $25 per hour. Groups of three or more are $15 per hour per person. Pilates and stretching techniques are specifically designed for cyclists, and will focus on those areas a cyclist must address for strength, flexibility and mobility.
The athlete must also be willing and able to listen to constructive criticism. The coach also holds himself to that same standard through an annual assessment and review of the relationship by the athlete of the coach.
The athlete/coach relationship can be terminated at any time by the athlete or coach. However, it is hopeful a good working relationship between the athlete and coach will be established and become long-lasting. These relationships take work and determination, just like all other relationships. If the services stop and payment has been made then a refund will be issued on a pro-rated basis.
